Embedding Circularity in Asia Pacific

<br>Impact Hub Jakarta’s ongoing collaboration with Bank of America (BoA) aims to embed circularity across the Asia-Pacific region by making it relevant to Asian business contexts. Since 2024, we have partnered with BoA to localize circular economy resources through the Embedding Circularity program, while bridging the gap between circular entrepreneurs with innovative solutions and corporations facing waste-related challenges through SUPRLab (Sustainable Procurement Lab). This approach ensures that circular innovations can be effectively scaled and commercialized Through SUPRLab challenge statement workshops involving 8 startups and 21 corporates, the initiative successfully facilitated 6 collaborations that have progressed to the prototyping and MoU stage.

Our Mission to Make Inclusion <br> Mainstream Again

<br>Alongside Myanmar, Cambodia, and The Philippines, we are building the foundation for inclusive and accessible ecosystem transformation. With Elevate, supported by The Nippon Foundation, this trans-local program exists to lay the groundwork for making the entrepreneurial ecosystem truly accessible and inclusive for all. Joining forces in four countries to build inclusive support infrastructure, unlock funding opportunities, and work hand in hand with entrepreneurs with disabilities.

Paving New Pathways to Entrepreneurship for Women with Disabilities (BEAM - Building Entrepreneurial Access Models)

<br>Funded by MetLife Foundation, focuses on enhancing accessibility for women entrepreneurs with disabilities through physical retrofitting and inclusive communications. Beyond leading the program implementation with Impact Hubs in Shanghai, Kathmandu, and Dhaka, Impact Hub Jakarta also supported the Regional Communications role by developing an inclusive communications kit for BEAM. Through this initiative, 43 women entrepreneurs across three markets were supported and improved their business and leadership skills, and over 356 changemakers were engaged through inclusive community events.

Innovative Indonesian Women Taking Lead in the Global Stage

<br>In 2024, we take pride in snatching 2 spots from the 5 winners representing Asia Pacific, and winners from Latin America and Africa for the Bayer Foundation WEA Program. We nominated and supported Athalia Mutiara Laksmi (HearMe) and Astrid Paramita (FoodCycle) throughout the 6-month accelerator program. In 2025, out of 69 applicants, Shana Fatina (Komodo Water) was selected as one of the 15 global winners of the Bayer Foundation WEA 2025.

Fostering Cross-Border Innovation in Partnership with MYSC Korea

<br>Impact Hub Jakarta has partnered with MYSC (Merry Year Social Company) on FIN:NECT Global Indonesia, a program designed as a landing pad to help Korean fintech startups explore and expand into the Indonesian market. Building on this momentum, we also had another collaboration through KOICA Creative Technology Solution (CTS) in the Seed 0 Research Overview phase, where we gathered 20 key stakeholders in climate change, health, and rural development. The goal was to gather critical insights into the current ecosystem, major development gaps, and the potential for innovative technologies to address local issues.
