Hello, 2023! Hello World! Embracing a new year with renewed energy. Grateful that the worst is behind us, with the 3-year pandemic now downgraded to endemic status in most countries, including Indonesia.

The year marked our efforts to sustain business activities, navigating through uncertain market conditions at the tail-end of the pandemic.

Looking forward to a 2023 with new opportunities and aligning our business strategy to better meet the challenges:

  1. Find a better balance between Locally- and Internationally-sourced projects.
  2. Aggressively push community-building activities, the backbone of Impact Hub.
  3. Manage business with prudence, aiming for a healthy financial performance in line with more conducive external economic factors.

January saw us bring back community events, with Life Skills on “Resolution to Happiness” Workshop with Transformative Life Coach Christine Monteiro of Dotty Mind and Mental Health Workshop in collaboration with Menjadi Manusia (Becoming Human) and Coworkinc communities.

Extra excited for February will see us host “Museum for the United Nations – UN Live”, a unique 2-month pop-up project that will allow a live audience in Jakarta to engage with online audiences in diverse cities; i.e., Kigali, Rwanda; Gaza, Palestine; Bengaluru, India; and Barbados, among others.

Through this project, we aim to make more collective noise and raise awareness of Climate Change affecting all of us. We look forward to welcoming you to the “UN Museum” installation.

Impact Grovh: Wellness
The pandemic put on hold many Sharing Sessions, Workshops, Incubation & Acceleration Programs that we’ve been running since our opening in 2018.
So it was super exciting to host events again! Impact Grovh: Wellness “Resolution to Happiness” with Life Coach Christine Monteiro of Dotty Mind on 27 January 2023. A collaboration with our member, Grovh Indonesia.
A meaningful session full of life-skill hacks on dealing with our most valuable asset: OURSELVES! And how to create attainable and realistic New Year’s Resolutions.
Perpustakaan Manusia by Menjadi Manusia
Excited about the energy and turnout of our first community event for 2023: “Perpustakaan Manusia (Human Library),” a collaborative project with Menjadi Manusia & Coworkinc communities.
A fascinating concept of sharing: 5 tables, 5 human “books”, and 5 specific topics for a brief 20 min rotational sharing:(1) Growing up in a Dysfunctional Family;(2) Raising children in Interfaith Families;(3) Appreciating Invisible Professions – Security Guard;(4) Author – how to communicate meaningful messages via the written word;(5) Mental Health Survivor – dealing with Anxiety and Social Pressures.
